About Us

Based within the historical town of Knaresborough, our gift shop has a wide selection of quality hand crafted items produced within our onsite workshops. Designed and made by our own craft people, we offer unique gifts which can be tailored to meet your individual needs. Our range includes hand-made cards, creative textiles, and beautifully crafted wooden furnishings.

Our Products

To compliment our own range of gifts, we stock a selection of products from exclusive names including:

The Bath House – a range of some of the finest body care products available, all designed, developed and made within the U.K using the highest quality ingredients and extracts.

The Toy Workshop – a range of beautifully painted, traditional hand-crafted educational toys, gifts and nursery accessories which stimulate imagination and play.

Nici - a range of plush soft toys and accessories which feature highly loveable characters. The range includes the very popular Wild Friends and Jolly Mah characters that will become lifelong friends.
   

Our Services

At The Gift People we also provide training and supported employment for people with disabilities. Our craft workshops offer the opportunity to develop skills in a variety of areas including, Woodwork, Textiles, and Paper crafts. Sales generated through the shop provide valuable experience of working in retail, and help to support the training program.
